Anglican Bordeaux Christmas Bazaar 2025

Anglican Church Christmas Bazaar

Saturday 29th November starting at 14:00

283 Rue Frédéric Sévène, 33400 TALENCE (how to get there)

We are delighted to hold our Christmas Bazaar again this year which will take place on Saturday 29th November starting at 14:00 at The Protestant Temple, 283 Rue Frédéric Sévène, 33400 TALENCE (how to get there)

First and foremost our bazaar is a Christian fellowship gathering to be enjoyed by all. But the bazaar is also one of our activities to raise funds to support the costs of running our Chaplaincy of Aquitaine and to support our chosen charities.

Christmas Bazaar ‘Goodies’

There is something for everyone to enjoy and we encourage everyone, if possible, to please bring a contribution, however small, for the raffle or the stalls.

Contributions are needed for: Christmas Stall, Wine Stall, Book Stall, Silent Promises, Christmas Cakes and Goodies, Raffle Prizes, Home Jams and Home Produce. (Bric-a-brac is welcome but please only bring quality Bric-a-brac!)

During the afternoon we will have a time for singing the carols which we all enjoy and there will also be some fun things for the children.

How to Help

Firstly you can help by just attending and enjoying yourselves with friends and a cup of tea with cake. You can also help by bringing contributions such as raffle prizes and contributions for any of the stalls.

Volunteers are needed to assist on the day with the various stalls, teas and coffee etc

If you have any questions or need some ideas on how you can help or contribute then please do not hesitate to contact Barry or Ian by email at anglican.bordeaux.comms@gmail.com (as soon as possible please!)

Christmas Bazaar – Silent Promises

This year we would like to reintroduce the Silent Promises where ‘promises’ are donated, anonymous bids are placed and the highest bid wins. But … we need your support for this to go ahead.

Some ideas you might consider offering are gardening assistance, DIY/decorating assistance, a themed cookery session, a workshop about your favourite hobby, afternoon tea at home, guided walk with picnic, guided cycle ride with picnic. Let your imagination run wild! Offer something that you enjoy doing and you think that others would either enjoy or something that would help them. We need at least ten silent promises for this to go ahead.

If you have some ideas then please email Ian in the first instance at anglican.bordeaux.comms@gmail.com with your name and phone number and we can then explain more and answer your questions.
