We are all invited to the Chaplaincy Praise Day on Sunday 29th May at the beautiful abbey of St Avit Senieur (Dordogne).
Program
3:00pm – Chaplaincy Eucharist
4:00pm – Picnic (and rehearsal for United Chaplaincy Choir)
5:15pm – Festival of Praise (featuring the award-winning UCLAN Choir, the United Chaplaincy Choir and Congregational singing)
Singing
There is participation from our Bordeaux Church Choir led by Richard Hunt and also from our Kids Choir led by Stephen and Holi Razafindratsima. They will all sing as part of the United Chaplaincy Choir
Many will remember the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) Choir who sang to great effect with us previously at L’Assomption and also at one of our open-air Eucharists in the Medoc. Please click here for a nice informal video of the UCLAN Choir.
Transport
We are planning to book a coach leaving L’Assomption after the optional short Morning Prayer Service. If you would like to travel on the coach, please click here to send us a short email message eg Yes, two of us would like to travel by coach (or similar)
If you are planning to attend but travelling independently/car sharing then click here to send an email message to that effect which would be most helpful to us in our planning.
Uplifting !
This will be a most uplifting day! We will be joining people from across the Chaplaincy. Why not bring a friend…perhaps someone who hasn’t been to church for a while?
Enjoy the Service, enjoy the singing, enjoy your picnic and enjoy the ambiance in this glorious setting of the abbey and its grounds.
To set the scene, here are photos from a previous Pentecost Service led by Bramwell at St Avit Senieur.
